Acupressure

 Equine and Canine Acupressure Therapy:

  • is a holistic approach that recognizes the patterns of imbalance or disease in the body, and restores balance and health by helping the body regulate itself
  • addresses pain, arthritis, heart, lung, kidney, digestive, hormonal, allergic, and mental/emotional issues

Acupressure was used on animals as long as 3,500 years ago. By recognizing the imbalance before it becomes a disease or problem, acupressure can return the body or area to a healthy state.  It is also an excellent preventative therapy to assist in maintaining an individual’s health.

What is the difference between acupressure and acupuncture?

Acupuncture and acupressure are both methods used to stimulate acupoints. In comparison, acupuncture uses a hair-thin needle to stimulate  acupoints, whereas acupressure uses a firm pressure to massage the acupoints.  Both techniques have the same aim and use the same points to address the illness, disease, issue or problem.
